Community Based Services (CBS)

CBS is a Licensed Community Mental Health Program which offers a variety of quality outpatient services and programs. These include: Outpatient Restorative Services, Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Services, Case Management for the DD Waiver Programs and Foster Grandparents/ Senior Companion Programs.

The Mental Health component provides individualized, assertive, and comprehensive community-based treatment. The focus is on rehabilitation and improving the quality of life of adults, adolescents, children and families in need of Mental Health Services.

Psychiatry Services provides diagnosis, medication and nursing services.

Psychotherapy Services provides therapy services to individuals, couples and group to address emotional problems.

Psychological Assessment is similar to psychological testing but usually involves a more comprehensive assessment of the individual.

Comprehensive Community Support Services provides advocacy, monitoring and linkage to access and use community resources.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation emphasizes the development of daily living skills and includes Supportive Employment. Crisis Triage Response Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Sexual Assault Services provides a comprehensive array of counseling and advocacy services to survivors of sexual assault.

Residential Services focuses on providing a highly structured therapeutic milieu intended to increase independence and the living environment of choice for persons diagnosed with a mental illness.

Substance Abuse Counseling provides individual counseling with an emphasis on education on the addictive process in Santa Rosa.

Education and Information Services are available for presentations and workshops upon request.

Case Management for the Developmental Disabilities & Disabled and Elderly Waivers

A community based program that offers case management to individuals who have disabilities. Services cover both the Northeast and Southeast regions of New Mexico. Case management services are person centered and quality driven to assist individuals in achieving their highest level of self-sufficiency, independence, and quality of life. Case managers promote the individuals’ right to fully participate in the planning process. Prioritizing the individual’s desires, values, and preferences is vital for the planning process and to accessing natural and specialized supports. This person-centered approach to planning highlights the individual’s unique talents and gifts while envisioning their future and implementing community services and support in a healthy environment.

Foster Grandparents & Senior Companions Program

These programs provide opportunities for low-income persons 60 years or older to extend supportive services in health and education. Foster Grandparents share their experience and their talent to improve the lives of children in need. They help children develop the skills, confidence and strength to succeed in life.

Senior Companions are healthy older adults who help other adults live independently. They provide support to family caregivers. They assist with daily tasks necessary to maintain independence.

Outpatient Restorative Services

The Outpatient Restorative Services department offers comprehensive therapy along with Audiology to clients of all ages. Our therapists are licensed and expertly trained in their field.
